Netfa and Tozeur oasis, welcome this program of sports tourism, the vast palm plantation, hiking in mountain oasis of Tamerza and Mides and the great magic that surround these places are the ingredients for this special long weekend in Africa. The race is unique and for this reason is appreciate from the marathon lover. A marathon with strong feelings, called extreme because it is the only marathon in the world in a salt lake, the Chott El Jerid about 2500 square km of extension between the mythical oasis of Tozeur and Nefta in the south-west of Tunisia.
Important new features of this 8th edition is the start, will be early in the morning around 5.00 a.m. even in the dark, after short time the color change, giving space to the sunrise in the Chott, a true spectacle.
